The claw of the mirror is prone to breakage when working in cold temperatures. Always warm up the mirror claw and claw periphery to 20°C or higher before handling.

1.Slant the mirror upward with your finger. Insert a flat-tipped screwdriver wrapped with a protective tape between the pivot plate and mirror through the cut-out from behind the mirror. 2.Now pry off the mirror claws and pull the mirror toward you to remove it. 3.Disconnect the heated mirror harness connectors.

1.Remove the mirror. 2.Release the claws of door mirror outer cover from the door mirror assembly as shown in the illustration.

Because the claws A and B are not accessible, disengage the points C and D of the door mirror actuator and release the claws.

3.Remove the cover from the door mirror assembly.
|
|
Install the door mirror assembly with the nuts in the numerical order as shown in the illustration.
