Inspection Procedure 6: A/C Information Display cannot be Displayed or the Display not Normal.




CIRCUIT OPERATION


The A/C Information display receives the A/C operating information signal from the A/C-ECU and shows.

COMMENTS ON TROUBLE SYMPTOM


If the other display is normal, the A/C-ECU may be defective.

PROBABLE CAUSES



DIAGNOSIS PROCEDURE

STEP 1. M.U.T.-III CAN bus diagnostics
Use the M.U.T.-III to diagnose the CAN bus lines.

Q. Is the check result satisfactory?
Go to Step 2.
Repair the CAN bus lines (Refer to GROUP 54C, Diagnosis - Can Bus Diagnostic Table ). After diagnosing the CAN bus lines, go to Step 2.

STEP 2. M.U.T.-III other system diagnosis code
Check if an A/C-ECU diagnosis code is set.

Q. Is the diagnosis code set?
Refer to GROUP55, Troubleshooting and then go to Step 3.
Replace A/C-ECU and then go to Step 3.

STEP 3. Recheck for malfunction.

Q. Is a malfunction eliminated?
If no malfunctions are found in all steps, an intermittent malfunction is suspected. Refer to GROUP 00, How to Use Troubleshooting/Inspection Service Points - How to Cope with Intermittent Malfunction .
Replace the multi display station.
