1.Drain the A/T fluid and remove the valve body cover.

2.Remove the A/T fluid temperature sensor.
|
|
3.Measure the resistance between A/T control solenoid valve assembly connector
terminals 1 and 2. Standard value:

The A/T fluid temperature warning lamp on the combination meter flashes when
the temperature reaches approximately 135 °C or higher and then stops flashing when
the temperature drops below approximately 115°C.

4.If the A/T fluid temperature sensor resistance and the temperature when the
A/T fluid temperature warning lamp is illuminating or switched off are outside the standard
value ranges, replace the A/T fluid temperature sensor.
