Pre-removal Operation
  • Engine Room Under Cover Panel Removal (Refer to GROUP 51 - Under Cover ).
  • Engine Coolant Draining (Refer to ).
  • Water Pump Belt Removal (Refer to GROUP 11E - Crankshaft Pulley ).

 Post-installation Operation
  • Water Pump Belt Installation (Refer to GROUP 11E - Crankshaft Pulley ).
  • Water Pump Belt Tension Check (Refer to GROUP 11E - On-vehicle Service, Water Pump Belt Tension Check )
  • Engine Coolant Refilling (Refer to ).
  • Engine Room Under Cover Panel Installation (Refer to GROUP 51 - Under Cover ).




Removal steps

 Turbocharger oil feed pipe (Refer to GROUP 15 - Exhaust Manifold and Turbocharger )


·
 Exhaust pressure pipe and hose assembly (Refer to GROUP 17 - Diesel Particulate Filter (DPF) System Sensors)

INSTALLATION SERVICE POINTS

Install the water inlet pipe gasket as its projection is in the direction shown.

>>B<< WATER PUMP INSTALLATION

Tighten water pump mounting bolts to the specified torque in the order of number shown in the illustration.
Tightening torque: 24 ± 3 N·m
