1.Remove the vacuum hose from the variable geometry (VG) actuator. Connect the hand vacuum
pump to the nipple.

In order to avoid damage to the diaphragm, do not apply a vacuum
of 62 kPa or higher.

Apply the vacuum pressure (of approximately 57 kPa) until the VG actuator link touches
the stopper bolt. This allows the actuator rod to fully shrink. 3.Leak the vacuum pressure gradually as much as possible to check the vacuum pressure
when the VG actuator rod moves approximately 1 mm in the extension direction. Standard value: Approximately 52.0 -
55.0 kPa 4.If the vacuum pressure significantly deviates from the standard value, check the actuator
or the variable nozzle. Replace the turbocharger assembly if necessary.
