ERROR MESSAGE



When the multivision display detects its own unintentional operation or malfunction in the loaded disc, it displays the following error messages.

Too cold SD card
If the system detects that the SD card is too cold or hot, an error message will be displayed. Wait until the temperature of the SD card returns to normal operating temperature.
Data cannot be read due to high temperatures.
Please wait.
Too hot SD card
Map card data cannot be read.
Check the map card.
Defective SD card (for system operation)
If the system cannot gain access to the SD card (for system operation), an error message will be displayed.
The monitor panel is hot.
Display has been halted to protect the LCD panel.
Please wait for its temperature to drop.
Too hot display monitor
If the display monitor is too hot, an error message will be displayed. After the error message is displayed, the screen will be shut down. Wait until the temperature of the monitor drops.
The map card is not inserted into the map slot.
Insert the map card included in this unit into the map slot.
SD card (for system operation) not inserted
If the system detects that a SD card is ejected, an error message will be displayed. Check whether the SD card is inserted securely in the SD card slot.
Map cannot be displayed.
Map data is not read correctly
If the system cannot gain access to the SD card (for system operation), an error message will be displayed.

CD drive-related error

Cannot be played.
Check the disk.
Focus error
These error codes will be shown if there is any problem with the CD or there is excessive vibration on the vehicle. If the error codes are not displayed when the vehicle is stopped and another CD is inserted, there is a problem with the CD. Check if there is any of the following problems with the CD.

  • Contamination, scratch, or deformation
  • Formation of moisture or grease
Repair the CD and insert it again. Then, check that no error appears.
Disk type error
Abnormal disc
Play is impossible due to high temperatures.
Remove the disk, and wait a short while.
Protection against high temperature
If the internal temperature is extremely high, this error code will be shown. Turn off the radio and CD player and wait until they cool down. Wait for a while, and then turn on the unit again. Check that the same error does not appear.
Play is impossible due to a mechanism error.
Abnormal load/eject
This error codes will be shown if there is any internal mechanical or electrical problem in the radio and CD player. Replace the radio and CD player check that no error codes are shown.
Power supply error
This error code will be shown if there is any problem in the power supply system of the radio and CD player. Check the connectors and wiring harness of the power supply system, and check that the battery voltage is normal. Check that the same error does not appear.

SD memory card-related error

The SD card cannot be recognized.
Defective device
If no file can be read due to a defective SD device, an error message will be displayed.
Internal ROM
Communication error
The music SD card cannot be recognized.
Defective device
If no audio file can be read due to a defective SD device, an error message will be displayed.
Error with authentication.
SD memory card cannot be authenticated.
The SD memory card is not authenticated. Reconnect.

USB memory-related error

Hands free-ECU internal error
This error code will be shown when there is a problem in the hands free-ECU. Replace the hands free-ECU.
An error (excess current) occurred.
Overcurrent abnormality
There is a communication error with the hands free-ECU.
No data that can be played.
No playable music file is found.
No playable music file is stored in the USB memory. Store music files to the USB memory.
This file cannot be played.
Unsupported format
The USB memory is not supported by the hands free-ECU. Use the supported USB memory.
This USB device cannot be played.
Unsupported device
Communication with USB memory is not possible.
Please try reconnecting.
USB memory cannot be authenticated.
The USB memory is not authenticated. Reconnect.

iPod®-related error
