Code No.C1705 LDW SW circuit low (short)

  • Before replacing the ECU, ensure that the power supply circuit, the earth circuit and the communication circuit are normal.

DIAGNOSTIC FUNCTION


When the LDW-ECU receives "ON" signal from the LDW switch for at least one minute consecutively, diagnosis code No. C1705 will be stored.

JUDGEMENT CRITERIA


The LDW-ECU receives a signal from the LDW switch via CAN communication with the ETACS-ECU. When the ECU receives "ON" signal from the LDW switch for at least one minute consecutively, it determines that the system is defective.

STEP 1. M.U.T.-III other system service data


Using the ETACS-ECU service data, check the LDW switch signal.

Go to Step 2

NO : Troubleshoot the ETACS-ECU. Refer to Inspection Procedure 16 "The LDW switch signal is not received" .

The trouble can be an intermittent malfunction (Refer to GROUP 00 - How to use Troubleshooting/inspection Service Points - How to Cope with Intermittent Malfunction ).

Replace the LDW-ECU.
