If the LDW system detects a fault after the LDW camera has been initialised and its image has been adjusted successfully, the multi-information display in the combination meter will provide a visual or audible warning.

The following signals, which are received via CAN communication, are unfeasible.

  • Engine-ECU: Vehicle speed signal
  • ABS-ECU <vehicles without ASC> or ASC-ECU <vehicles with ASC>: Yaw rate signal
  • Steering wheel sensor: Steering angular velocity signal
  • ETACS-ECU: Stop lamp switch signal

The internal temperature in the LDW camera reaches 85 °C or more.

A green indicator will illuminate when the operation is "permitted".

A green indicator will illuminate when the system has entered the warning monitor status.

LANE DEPARTURE
LDW indicator lamp
An amber indicator will flash when the system has entered the warning status.
When the LDW camera image input compensation is executed, the LDW-ECU (rain sensor) is initialised or the LDW camera image focus adjustment is executed.
