REMOVAL SERVICE POINT



<<A>> POLY V-BELT REMOVAL


note
  • Mark D.O.R. before removing.
  • Do not kink.
1.Mark direction of rotation of poly V-belt.

2.Swing tensioning element in direction of arrow to remove tension from poly V-belt.

3.Lock tensioning element using hex wrench (4.0 mm diameter).
4.Remove poly V-belt.

Can only be installed in one position. Holes are offset.

note
  • Ensure, before installing ribbed belt, that all ancillaries (alternator, air conditioner compressor) are secured tightly.
  • When fitting poly V-belt, check direction of belt rotation and proper seating of belt in belt pulleys.
  • For vehicles without air conditioning, put poly V-belt over alternator last.
  • For vehicles with air conditioning, put poly V-belt over air conditioning compressor last.
  • Check for wear.
  • Do not kink.

1.Install poly V-belt.
2.Lock tensioning element using hex wrench (4.0 mm diameter).

3.Swing tensioning element to strain poly V-belt.
