| 2.Warm up the engine until the engine oil temperature reaches 80 °C (The radiator
fan operates once). |
| 3.Remove the engine oil pressure switch (the brown insulation) from the oil filter bracket. |

4.Install the removed engine oil pressure switch to the special tool oil pressure tester
(MB995216). 5. Install the oil pressure tester to the portion in which the engine oil pressure switch of the oil filter bracket is installed. 6.Connect the brown wire of the oil pressure tester with the earth (-). 7.Using the auxiliary cables of special tool adaptor set (MB995217), connect the LED (light-emitting diode) to the place between the battery positive terminal (+) and the engine oil pressure switch terminal. And then, confirm the LED does not illuminate. 8.When the oil pressure reaches 55 - 85 kPa, confirm the LED illuminates after the engine start. Unless it illuminates, replace the engine oil pressure switch. 9.Tighten the engine oil pressure switch to the specified torque. If the sealing ring has an oil leakage, replace the sealing ring. Tightening torque: 22 N·m |
