DIAGNOSIS CONTENT

Fuel temperature signal is not dynamically plausible

TROUBLE JUDGMENT

Check Condition

The test will only be done if there is no other error shown in this test.

Judgment Criteria

The absolute temperature difference has a change of more than threshold within one driving cycle.

or

In the time interval the differential temperature integral exceeds threshold.

FAIL SAFE FUNCTION

Engine coolant temperature sensor output is used instead of fuel temperature sensor output.
BIP control is prohibited.

PROBABLE CAUSE

Failed fuel temperature sensor
Failed electrical harness in fuel temperature sensor circuit
