RADIATOR CONDENSER TANK CAP VALVE OPENING PRESSURE CHECK



 1.Use the following special tools to check the radiator condenser tank cap valve opening pressure.

  • Radiator cap tester (MB992193)

    • A: Radiator cap tester
  • Radiator cap tester adapter set (MB992190)

    • A: Radiator cap tester adapter

note Be sure that the cap is clean before testing. Rust or other foreign material on the cap seal will cause an improper reading.
Use the special tool (MB992190) to attach the radiator condenser tank cap to the special tool (MB992193).
3.Increase the pressure until the indicator of the gauge stops moving.
Standard value: 93 - 123 kPa
4.If not within the standard value, replace the radiator condenser tank cap.
