REASSEMBLY SERVICE POINT

>>A<<COVER INSTALLATION

1.Apply the sealant to the threaded portion of fastening bolts.

2.Apply a 1.5 mm diameter bead of sealant as illustrated onto the cover, and attach the cover to the transfer of 9.0 ± 2.0 N·m.
Specified sealant: 3M AAD Pant No.8660 or equivalent

>>B<<OIL SEAL INSTALLATION

Using the Special Tool, Oil Seal Installer (MB991242), install the oil seal.

note

Apply Hyped gear oil to the lip of oil seal.

>>C<<OIL SEAL INSTALLATION

Using the Special Tool, Installer Adapter (MB990936), install the oil seal.

note

Apply Hyped gear oil to the lip of oil seal.
