Whenever the ECU
is replaced, ensure that the communication circuit is normal.
TROUBLE JUDGMENT
If the combination meter detects the meter information switch pressed state for 60 seconds
or more continuously, the diagnosis code No. B2464 is stored.

Damaged harness wires and connectors
Malfunction of meter information switch
Malfunction of combination meter
DIAGNOSIS PROCEDURE
STEP 1. Connector check: C-02 meter information switch connector

Repair the connector.

Check the meter information switch. Refer to .

Go to Step 3.
Replace the meter information switch.
STEP 3. Resistance measurement at the C-02 meter information switch
connector
(1)Disconnect the meter information switch connector, and then measure at the wiring
harness side.
(2)Turn the ignition switch to the OFF (LOCK) position.
(3)Disconnect the negative battery terminal.
(4)Measure the resistance from C-02 meter information switch connector terminal No.
4 to body earth. OK: Continuity exists (2 Ω
or less)

STEP 4. Check the wiring harness between the C-02 meter information
switch connector terminal No. 4 and the body earth.

Repair the wiring harness.

connector terminal No. 3 and the C-02 meter information switch terminal No. 1.

STEP 7. Check whether the diagnosis code is reset.
Check again if the diagnosis code is set to the combination meter.
(1)Erase the diagnosis code.
(2)Turn the ignition switch from "LOCK" (OFF) position to "ON" position.
