TRANSMISSION FLUID LEVEL CHECK

1.Remove the engine room under cover front B assembly. (Refer to GROUP 51 - Under Cover .)
2.Start the engine, and let it run at idle to warm it up for 15 minutes.
3.Please ensure an transmission fluid temperature of 40 ± 5°C.
note Use M.U.T.-III. to measure the transmission fluid temperature.
4.Move the shift lever to every position (P, R, N, D, manual mode) (Hold for 20 seconds in each position), and then move it to the P range.
5.Stop the engine.
6.Remove the air cleaner element and air cleaner intake duct. (Refer to GROUP 15 - Air Cleaner .)

7.Remove the filler plug.

8.Remove the transmission fluid level check plug.
9.
caution If transmission fluid drains out, it is no indication, that the transmission fluid level is already adjusted or too high. To fill-in transmission fluid again via transmission fluid filling bore is mandatory to ensure proper transmission fluid level in maincontrol chamber, too.
Drain transmission fluid via transmission fluid level check bore until continuous flow changes into single drops of transmission fluid.
10.
caution The following steps 10 to 13 are to be conducted in one go without any longer breaks.
Connect the funnel tube into the filling bore. Now keep filling transmission fluid into the filling bore until transmission fluid drains out through the transmission fluid level check bore.
Brand name: Dia Queen SSTF-I
11.Tighten the filler plug to the specified torque.
Tightening torque: 35 ± 5 N·m
12.Drain transmission fluid via transmission fluid level check bore until continuous flow changes into single drops of transmission fluid.
13.Tighten the transmission fluid check plug to the specified torque.
Tightening torque: 35 ± 5 N·m
14.Clean the oil level check plug and the transmission.
15.Install the air cleaner element and air cleaner intake duct. (Refer to GROUP 15 - Air Cleaner .)
16.Install the engine room under cover front B assembly. (Refer to GROUP 51 - Under Cover .)
