POWER STEERING FLUID REPLACEMENT

1.Raise the front wheels using a jack, and support with a rigid rack.

2.Disconnect the return hose, and catch the fluid into a container.

3.Disconnect the all of the injector connectors.
4.Crank the engine with the starter motor intermittently several times and then turn the steering wheel fully in both directions repeatedly to drain off the fluid.
5.Connect the return hose securely, and fix with clips.
6.
caution Do not use ATF-SP II M and ATF-SP III.
Fill the specified fluid to the level between MAX and MIN marks of the oil reservoir, and bleed the power steering system (Refer to ).
Fluid: Genuine MITSUBISHI power steering fluid or ATF DEXRON III or DEXRON II

3.Disconnect the camshaft position sensor connector.
4.Crank the engine with the starter motor intermittently several times and then turn the steering wheel fully in both directions repeatedly to drain off the fluid.
5.Connect the return hose securely, and fix with clips.

caution Do not use ATF-SP II M and ATF-SP III.
Fill the specified fluid to the level between MAX and MIN marks of the oil reservoir, and bleed the power steering system (Refer to ).

1.Raise the front wheels using a jack, and support with a rigid rack.

2.Disconnect the return hose, and catch the fluid into a container.
3.Disconnect all of the injector connectors.
4.Disconnect all of the glow plug connectors.
5.Crank the engine with the starter motor intermittently several times and then turn the steering wheel fully in both directions repeatedly to drain off the fluid.
6.Connect the return hose securely, and fix with clips.

caution Do not use ATF-SP II M and ATF-SP III.
Fill the specified fluid to the level between MAX and MIN marks of the oil reservoir, and bleed the power steering system (Refer to ).
