| note | Partial replacement is possible depending on the range of damage. Cut the side sill reinforcement 50 mm away from the cut area of the side outer panel.
| 1.
Remove the fender bracket on the cut area in advance when cutting the side outer panel.
| 2.
When removing the floor side sill reinforcement, the front pillar reinforcement interferes with it in the front pillar section, and thus cut the front pillar reinforcement 125 mm below the centre of the front door hinge installation hole. In the quarter section, the centre pillar reinforcement interferes with it, and thus cut the centre pillar reinforcement 160 mm below quarter panel positioning notch.
| When assembling the new floor side sill outer parts, apply in advance body sealant to the areas shown in the figure of the instructions.
| 1.
Because the floor side sill reinforcement interferes with the front pillar reinforcement, cut the front pillar reinforcement 125 mm below the centre of the front door hinge installation hole.
| 2.
Cut the floor side sill reinforcement 120 mm forward from the side sill positioning notch, and remove it.
| 1.
To reinforce the strength of the floor side sill reinforcement cut area, cut the side sill reinforcement front 105 mm behind the cut-out part and the side sill reinforcement 55 mm behind the cut-out part.
| 2.
caution | Weld and repair if the side sill front bulkhead is damaged.
| Cut only the side sill reinforcement front of the new floor side sill reinforcement by aligning it with the cut area on the body side. Cut 205 mm forward from the cut area to create a cover. Next, cut the side sill reinforcement and the side sill front bulkhead by aligning them with the side sill reinforcement cut area on the body side. Cut only the side sill reinforcement 105 mm forward from the cut area to create a cover. Next, cut the side sill front bulkhead 55 mm forward from the cut area.
