>>A<< CANCELLING THE HBB BUZZER OPERATION CHECK MODE (WHEN REPLACING THE ASTC-ECU)


If the ignition switch is turned to the "ON" position after replacing the ASTC-ECU, the HBB buzzer will sound for approximately five seconds. This is because the ASTC-ECU is at the HBB buzzer operation check mode (for factory production line). To stop the buzzer, carry out one of the following procedures.

  • Erase the HBB diagnosis codes using M.U.T.-III. (Refer to GROUP 35A, Inspection Chart for Diagnosis Codes .)
  • Drive the vehicle at 40 km/h or more.
