The fuel tank pump assembly consists of the following components:
Fuel pump assembly
Fuel tank filter
Fuel tank pump pressure regulator
As for the fuel tank, a steel fuel tank which is located underneath the front seat (R.H.)
side floor has been adopted in the same way as the conventional PAJERO. It has the following
features.
Lead-free materials have been adopted for fuel tank in
consideration of protection of the global environment.
A plastic under protector which is light in weight and has excellent corrosion resistance
has been adopted.
A valve assembly with an integrated cut-off valve which prevents fuel outflow and
two-way valve which adjusts the fuel pressure inside the fuel tank has been adopted.
