REMOVAL SERVICE POINT

<<A>> RADIATOR UPPER HOSE DISCONNECTION

Make mating marks on the radiator hose and hose clamp as shown to install them in the original position. Then, remove them.

INSTALLATION SERVICE POINTS

>>A<< CYLINDER HEAD WATER BY-PASS PIPE GASKET/CYLINDER HEAD WATER BY-PASS PIPE INSTALLATION

1.Attach the claws of cylinder head water by-pass pipe gasket to the cylinder head water by-pass pipe.
2.With the gasket assembled to the cylinder head water by-pass pipe, install it to the cylinder head.

>>B<< O-RING INSTALLATION
caution
  • Care must be taken not to permit engine oil or other greases to adhere to the O-ring.
  • When inserting the pipe, check to be sure that there is no sand, dirt, etc. on its inner surface.

Fit the O-ring to the groove in the water pump inlet pipe and cooling water outlet pipe. Then lubricate the O-ring and the inside of the water pump assembly, cylinder head water by-pass pipe and cooling water outlet fitting with water. Then insert the water pump inlet pipe and cooling water outlet pipe to the water pump assembly, cylinder head water by-pass pipe and cooling water outlet fitting with water.

>>C<< RADIATOR UPPER HOSE CONNECTION

1.Insert the radiator upper hose as far as the projection of the cooling water outlet hose fitting.
2.Align the mating marks on the radiator upper hose and hose clamp, and then connect the radiator upper hose.
